D. Jemeljanovas debuted back in 2024, when he first stepped into the organization’s ring at the UTMA 9 tournament.
In his debut fight, having defeated Rytis Vaitkevičius, D. Jemeljanovas continued his journey at the UTMA Rising 1 tournament by knocking out Evaldas Beleišis.
D. Jemeljanovas suffered the only loss of his career in the organization at the UTMA 13 tournament, when in the third round he had to acknowledge the superiority of Isos Gocmenas. However, before this important step and signing the contract, Jemeljanovas had already returned to the path of victories, when at the UTMA 18 tournament in a tough fight he managed to defeat Raimondas Aukštikalnis.
„In two years I have improved very strongly as a fighter, psychologically, physically. We surrounded ourselves with a very large team, with which improvement is faster, clearer, and more focused. There is no ceiling for improvement. We invest a lot in it, and such a contract will allow investing more financially. That is only a plus. We learn from mistakes, we improve. I am not old yet, I still have a lot of time to improve and continue,“ said the fighter.

By the way, this is already the second long-term contract that the organization has made with fighters from Palanga. Let us remind you that quite recently the rising star, 18-year-old Tomas Banskis, signed a long-term contract with UTMA.
„The kids from the Baltic coasts are all more combative, sharper, used to harsher conditions, warriors. I think there will be more and more of them. We still have more than one who could fight at this level,“ smiled D. Jemeljanovas.
„It is very nice that Jemeljanovas, who before UTMA even seemed to have ended his career because there was no platform to fight in Lithuania, is now back. But currently, it is pleasing to see more and more fighters emerging from the seaside. I have mentioned more than once that the seaside and the west of Lithuania are very strong in their combat sports school. This addition to UTMA means a lot, Deividas has proven his worth more than once,“ said UTMA head Viktoras Gecas.
