As usual, the scale of short-term registrations last month was small: 20 newly registered cars (of which 11 were Toyota) were deregistered by the end of the month, and another 8 will be deregistered soon.

In July, the registration of passenger cars (M1) increased by 31.1% to 4,716 units, while the volume of light commercial vehicles (N1) fell by 23.2% to 288 units. Speaking about individual working days, the most successful was July 30, when 316 cars were registered, and the worst was July 10, when 129 cars were registered.
Last month, the Lithuanian new car market was led by the Volkswagen brand (1,023 units), followed by Skoda (813), and third was Toyota (765). Among premium brands, Audi (238 units) maintained the leading position.
In July, among passenger (M1) models, the most popular were Volkswagen Tiguan (393 units), Volkswagen T-Roc (323), and Skoda Kodiaq (219). Among light commercial vehicles (N1), Renault Master (61 units) and Toyota Hilux (32) led.

Last month, 430 true electric vehicles (EV) were registered, which is 32.3% more than a year ago. The most popular model was the Toyota bZ4X (40 units). In July 2025, 325 electric vehicles were registered.
From January to July 2026, a total of 31,217 new light vehicles were registered in Lithuania, i.e., 16.6% more than in the same period last year (26,770). This year, 2,428 electric vehicles were registered, i.e., 53.4% more than in the same period last year (1,583). Over the year, their market share increased from 5.9% to 7.8%.
Last month in Lithuania was rich in debuts. In July, the country saw the appearance of Jaecoo 7 (compact SUV), MG S6 (mid-size SUV), MG S9 (large SUV), Volvo EX60 (mid-size electric SUV), Xpeng X9 (large electric MPV), as well as models of the Zeekr brand, which is not yet officially represented in Lithuania: Zeekr 7GT, Zeekr 7X, and Zeekr X.
