On average, 135 mm of precipitation fell in Lithuania, which is 161% of the July monthly norm. The difference between the wettest and driest areas of the country reaches up to one and a half times. In some places, there was an exceptionally large amount, exceeding more than twice the monthly precipitation norm.

From July 1–31 (until 9 a.m.) the most precipitation fell in parts of the western and southern districts:
In Pagėgiai – 197.7 mm (227% of the July monthly norm);
In Kazlų Rūda – 195 mm (222% of the monthly norm);
In Skuodas – 188 mm (232%);
In Jurbarkas – 181.7 mm (211%);
In Šakiai – 178.3 mm (205%);
In Alytus – 177.7 mm (183%);
The least precipitation fell in the northeast and the coastal area:
In Rokiškis – 75 mm (88% of the July monthly norm);
In Zarasai – 85 mm (100% of the monthly norm);
In Kupiškis – 90.8 mm (108%);
In Ventė (Šilutė district) – 97.3 mm (125%);
In Nida – 103.2 mm (147%);
In Druskininkai – 105.1 mm (102%).
According to current data, today and over the weekend we will experience brief rain (on Saturday rain may be heavy in some places). In some areas, up to 20–40 mm may fall by the end of this week. The beginning of the new week should be dry.
