“A serious accident just before the repaired dam bridge on the highway towards Kaunas. About 3–5 cars collided. Near the road repairs,” another reader reported.
The navigation app “Waze” also informs drivers about a large traffic jam on the A1 highway.
Meanwhile, 15min reader Eglė reports another incident, also causing disruptions on Lithuania’s main highway A1.
“On the Via Baltica road towards Marijampolė (just after the bridge over the Nemunas), there is an accident. Small, one car crashed into a barrier, but the traffic jam is already several kilometers long, almost up to Depo. And before Kaunas – from Adampolis,” the witness reports.
