However, the end of the game turned out to be very painful for the Lithuanians. In the ninth inning, the Norwegian baseball players made a decisive sprint, scoring seven points and overturning the result – 10:7.
The Lithuanian team reduced the deficit in their last attack but could not save themselves.
Domas Kamandulis made the first “Home Run” hit for the Lithuanian national team in this qualifying tournament. In total, the Lithuanians made 11 successful hits, while the Norwegians made 15.

Today at 19:30 Lithuanian time, the Lithuanians will face the tournament host Poland, and on Friday they will have the last qualifying match against Ukraine.
After the loss to Norway, the Lithuanian team lost the chance to qualify for next year’s European Championship.
