The new Audi A2 e-tron will be officially presented in the fall, but prototypes of the model have already been spotted during testing in Copenhagen. This is reported by the website Motor1.

The test electric cars Audi A2 e-tron were camouflaged with a camouflage film, but the hatchback design details can still be seen. It closely resembles the original 1999 Audi A2, as it features a similar silhouette with a curved roof and split rear window.

At the same time, the electric car is slightly larger in size, and its front part is designed in the brand’s modern style. The tested cars have 19-inch wheels with improved aerodynamics.
It is known that the starting price of the 2027 Audi A2 will not exceed 40,000 euros, making it the brand’s cheapest electric car. The model will be built on the MEB+ platform and may adopt powertrains from the Audi Q4 e-tron, Volkswagen ID.3 Neo, or CUPRA Born.

The range is expected to offer versions with power from 170 to 272 hp with 50, 59, and 79 kWh capacity batteries.
The Audi A2 e-tron’s driving range will exceed 600 km. The possibility of a sporty all-wheel-drive version is not ruled out.
