“In the last 600 meters, I gave everything I had. After the last shooting, it seemed like I had no strength left, but when all the Lithuanians started shouting and supporting, it felt like I got a second engine and had as much strength as in the first lap. Last year’s European Junior (U17) champion L. Valeika will compete in the final tomorrow. On the fifth day of the World Championship in Kaunas, two more finals will take place. Martina Rutkauskaitė and Gustė Pečiulytė will compete in the girls’ (U22) final, while Rokas Sungaila and Dominykas Banys will compete in the boys’ (U17) final.
