On Monday, the weather will worsen further – rain is forecast in many parts of the country, heavy and with thunderstorms in some places. In the western regions, northwestern wind gusts will reach 15–20 m/s during the day, up to 25 m/s at the seaside. The air will warm up to 15–20 degrees during the day, in some eastern regions – up to 21–24 degrees.

Warnings about stormy weather
Meteo.lt issues a yellow level warning for Saturday due to dangerous meteorological phenomena in most of western and southern Lithuania. Thunderstorms are forecast, with short but intense rains in many places, heavy rain in some areas. Wind gusts may strengthen to 15–20 m/s during thunderstorms.
The warning covers Klaipėda, Telšiai, Šiauliai, Tauragė, Kaunas, Marijampolė, and Alytus counties. In the eastern part of the country – Vilnius, Utena, and Panevėžys counties – no dangerous meteorological phenomena are currently expected.
